Q. How do I schedule a photo session?
A. Simply let me know you would like to book a photo session, what dates work best for you and what type of session you are looking for through my contact page or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. For wedding photography please send me your date, venue location and your phone number so that I may contact you to discuss wedding packages and further details etc.
Q. What time of day is best for a photo shoot?
A. In the early morning or late afternoon/evening. Times vary, based on the time of year. Generally speaking, you want the sun to be low in the sky. Sunlight overhead can be harsh, and can make it very difficult to capture beautiful photos.
Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?
A: No I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure I have the perfect focus. Also, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. I might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure I have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. With my expertise in processing millions of images each year, I may eliminate ones that I feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.
Q:What should I/We wear?
A: It is best to keep clothing simple, avoiding logos or loud busy patters. I always suggest solid colors and layers/textures. In group photos, color coordinating is always more pleasing to the eye. Wear clothes that represent you and who you are. Feel free to bring a change of clothing as well for a different look/feel to your session.
Q: Can I bring my friend along?
A: Sure! Especially if you are on a senior portrait session. I encourage doing anything that helps to make you feel more comfortable and relaxed during our session. Trust me, we will have fun!
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Once a shoot has been scheduled and paid for, there are NO REFUNDS. If the weather does not cooperate, please know that I will reschedule your shoot ONE time.
Q: What type of payments do you accept?
A: I accept cash and all major credit cards.
